The council's new youth employment ambassador says partnerships are needed to help young people.
Businesses are being urged to work with the local authority to drive down the number of unemployed young people in North Lanarkshire.
Speaking at a recent ceremony at the Civic Theatre in Motherwell newly appointed youth employment ambassador Councillor Harry Curran called on local organisations to forge partnerships with North Lanarkshire Council.
Councillor Curran will be working with council services and partners involved with North Lanarkshire’s Working project to help support 16 to 24 year-olds in the area. READ MORE
