A young Greenock man has been given the chance to take up an electrical apprenticeship through a contract issued by local housing provider River Clyde Homes.
George Morrison, 19, started his four-year-apprenticeship with fit-out, housing and maintenance contractor Morris & Spottiswood.
He will initially be working in the Inverclyde area on a one-to-one buddy system with a fully qualified electrician, although through time George will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects Scotland-wide to maximise his learning experience.
