Apprenticeships in Scotland are supporting Creative Scotland and Young Scot with their recruitment of 23 digital creative apprenticeships in Scotland.
These
are an exciting new package of Modern Apprenticeships within the arts and
culture sector. Young people taking
part in the Modern Apprenticeships will study for vocational qualifications
while gaining professional experience working for an arts organisation.
These
six apprenticeships available are:
Creative
and Digital Media
Technical
Theatre: Costume and WardrobeTechnical Theatre: Rigging, Lighting and Sound
Cultural and Heritage Venue Operations
Community Arts Management
Music Business (Recording Industry)
According
to Shannen Scott a Youth Opportunities “Enterprise Apprentice” who is helping
to promote the programme “it is amazing that these have been announced and
great news for the very many young people who have made a career choice to
develop their creative skills. We hope there will be more to follow."
