Bullet MD's logistics apprenticeship plan


A Bothwell-based logistics company is getting behind a scheme to give young people the chance to build careers in the transport industry.

Bullet Express, which employs 80 staff and has a turnover of £10 million, is looking to take on two school leavers at least once a year to give them a grounding in all aspects of the industry over a two to three year period.

Managing director David McCutcheon said he hoped to visit Stonelaw Hgih School in Rutherglen, Glasgow, in the next academic year to talk to pupils about the range of careers the transport industry has to offer, from sales, marketing and accountancy to IT and web design.
