A cut-price shopping giant is set to bring 30 jobs to Ayr town centre.
Discount brand 99p Stores plans to invest £250,000 in the venture at Ayr Central.
The company, which has more than 220 branches across England and Wales, is coming north of the border for the first time.
And its boss says Ayr has been chosen as the starting point for the Scottish invasion.
Hussein Lalani, co-owner of 99p Stores, said: “Ayr is very much on the up and we are delighted to be opening our very first – of many – planned Scottish stores.”...READ MORE
