Youth unemployment to be tackled

New initiatives to tackle youth unemployment were unveiled this week.

The details of a dedicated strategy to deal with North Ayrshire’s youth unemployment were unveiled to councillors at the council’s cabinet meeting.

The council are looking to build on previous strategies, including youth employment support, modern apprenticeship and young entrepreneurial programmes.
