Travel Firm Leads the Way on Apprenticeship Scheme

Scotland’s youth employment minister has called for more companies to invest in young people through apprenticeship schemes.

Angela Constance made the call during a visit to Barrhead Travel after the firm announced plans to engage 50 apprentices at branches across the country earlier this year .

Ms Constance said such investment is “the right thing to do” in difficult economic times and “the smart thing to do” to grow businesses. READ MORE
