Apprenticeships on offer at recruitment event in Aberdeen

A one-day recruitment event to help school and college leavers secure an apprenticeship is being held in Aberdeen on Monday [22 April].
The drop-in event, which will involve a number of city-based firms, is aimed at promoting apprenticeships available to school and college leavers. It gives companies the opportunity to promote vacancies and attract wider interest for upcoming apprenticeships.
Apprenticeship vacancies in joinery, bricklaying, electrical, plumbing, engineering and painting are among those which will be on offer. Information on a wide range of career and training options will also be available. Aberdeen College and Skills Development Scotland will be among the organisations offering career advice.
The Apprenticeship Recruitment Event will be held in the Town and County Hall in the Town House, Broad Street, on Monday, 22 April from 10am until 3pm.
Any organisations interested in participating should contact Heather Farquhar by emailing hfarquhar@aberdeencity.gov.uk or calling 01224 523361 for more information or to book a place.
